Aaron and I

Aaron and I

I am a 36 year-old mother trying to keep up with my husband Aaron, our three busy, healthy boys, Dawson 10, Peyton 6, and Teagen 2, along with our family farming operation.

I grew up in the midwest, as a farmer’s daughter.  Growing up, I was very active in my church, 4-H, and extracurricular activities throughout high school. I have always loved sports and being in a small school, I had the opportunity to try all the sports offered in my high school.

My love of sports and helping others were the deciding factors in my decision to study Exercise Science at the University of Iowa.  I was not good enough to play college sports, but I could still be involved and help others through a career in athletic training.  Once I graduated from college I married my husband Aaron, a farmer in the Midwest.  Marrying a farmer was never in my “plans,” but here I am back on the farm helping with our cattle, hog, and crop operation.  For the last decade, I have worked with high school athletes as an athletic  trainer and looked for other 9 to 5 jobs after the birth of our three boys.  I love athletic training, but athletic trainers work long hard hours and many nights and weekends, which became more of a challenge as our family continued to grow.

Throughout our marriage, Beachbody has been very important in helping Aaron and I remain healthy, active, and able to keep up with our three boys.  In 2004, I had a scare where the entire left side of my body went numb. For the first time in my life I lost control of my body, which was the scariest part. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which runs in my family.  I recovered from that episode and vowed to always do everything I could to stay fit and healthy to keep up with my family.

Aaron and I have done a large variety of Beachbody programs and that has allowed us to see how they can fit into anyone’s lifestyle and time constraints.  Fast forward to March 2012, when I decided it was time to get serious about staying in shape for a lifetime and shedding the baby weight I had put on after the birth of our third baby.  Together, Aaron and I committed to eating clean and doing Insanity daily.  In April 2012, I became a Beachbody coach after starting to see results with Insanity and Shakeology.  Shakeology was a part of the program I was very skeptical about but agreed to try after Aaron was diagnosed with gluten intolerance (wheat allergy) and needed more nutritious meal options.  Once I started Shakeology I noticed my stomach really started shrinking.  I am proud to say I lost my 13 pounds of baby weight and more importantly have kept in off for the last year and a half!  Beachbody has changed our lives.

I lost 13 pounds after the birth of my third baby and have kept it off for a year and a half. I would love to help you with your health and fitness!

Last summer Aaron and I made  the decision for me to quit my fulltime job and take on several part time jobs……stay at home mom, farmer, bookkeeper, part time athletic trainer, and an INDEPENDENT BEACHBODY COACH.  Today exercise and healthy eating are a huge part of my family’s lifestyle. I absolutely love the fact that I am passing good habits on to my boys and I am in the best shape I have been in since high school!

Beachbody has allowed me to work from home while helping others make lifestyle changes through diet and exercise!  I am truly doing what I love and cannot wait to meet you.  Whether you are looking for a full or part time income or need help choosing the perfect exercise program or getting your nutrition on track, I am here for you!  We can work one on one, local or long distance.  I would love for you to join one of my Challenge groups for online support and accountability or come to my local Fit Club!
